While obvious, this can be the tricky part in any fitness goal. Too many distractions, lack of discipline, and other more important priorities all pose as hindrance to get your body as fit and sexy as you want it to be. To help you stay on track, try writing down your goal in big bold letters and sticking it somewhere you would always see. This should serve as a reminder whenever you find yourself tempted to drift away from dieting and working out.
Secret to Sexy Abs Step 2: Clean Up Your Diet
If you’re thinking of not eating anything until you’re satisfied with your “sexiness” better think again. Don’t starve yourself. Starving prompts your body to slow down metabolism and store fat instead of burning it; very counterproductive for losing weight. Alternatively, try to eat small portions of meal 5 – 6 times a day. Cut down the serving size and choose the right kind of food to consume.
The idea is to shed off fat (especially abdominal fat) to reveal abdominal muscles that are visibly toned and sculpted. To lose fat,the body needs to burn more calories than it consumes hence, there should be a conscious effort to choose the right kind of food and limit the amount of consumption to lower calorie input. Only when your body fat is low enough can your abdominal muscles be toned and visible.
Secret to Sexy Abs Step 3: Exercise
The muscles in your abdominals need to be worked out. A popular form of exercise for this muscle group is the sit ups. Sit ups is a strength training exercise focused particularly in the abdominal area.
Sit ups is a great workout to do because it can be done anywhere, need very little space, and does not require any type of equipment. It’s level of difficulty can be adjusted by simply moving the position of the arms.
